About CartPath
Why CartPath exists
Regular GPS apps route by speed or distance. They have no idea that a golf cart can’t drive on a 45 mph road.
CartPath checks the speed limit on every road segment, then scores each route by how much of it stays at or below 35 mph. Teal segments are legal for your vehicle; red segments aren’t. The app tries up to five different route variations to find the most compliant path.
Golf cart communities like The Villages in Florida, Peachtree City in Georgia, Sun City in Arizona, and Hilton Head Island in South Carolina have extensive cart-legal road networks. CartPath helps drivers in those areas—and anywhere else with LSV-legal roads—find routes that stay within the speed limit.
